Acupuncture

The time-tested science of Acupuncture is a holistic medicine that powerfully helps to reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, and regulate the nervous system and immune system. Although it has been around for some 3000 years, science is still working to discover all the complex ways that acupuncture affects and improves the body’s function.

Acupuncture involves the insertion of incredibly fine and thin needles, about the thickness of a few strands of hair. Acupuncture is very comfortable. Most people take a nap during their treatment, and leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Acupuncture can be effective in treating a wide variety of conditions ranging from chronic and acute pain, immune system disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, peripheral neuropathy, headaches and migraines, women’s health disorders and so much more!

What to Expect…

Quick and Painless

Acupuncture is virtually painless and very comfortable. Most people feel relaxed and take a nap during treatment. An acupuncture treatment won’t tie up your day — you’re typically out of the office in 30 minutes.

Treatment Course

The number of acupuncture treatments you will need will vary depending on your specific condition, the complexity and severity of your case, how long you’ve had it, and what your specific health goals are.

Accurate Evaluation

Once you are evaluated, Dr. Keller will provide you with a comprehensive and customized treatment plan based on clinically evidence-based data.

Treatment Frequency

For the best therapeutic results, acupuncture treatments are applied 2-4 times a week until maximum improvement is achieved. Acupuncture will be applied more frequently in the beginning phase of treatment, and then adjusted as the condition improves and stabilizes. A maintenance plan is often prescribed to prevent recurrence. Maintenance may be as little as 1-2 times per month or even 2-4 times per year depending on your individual case.

Lasting Results

Acupuncture can and often results in a complete absence of symptoms, even in severe pain conditions that have been present for years. Studies and clinical experience have shown that completion of a full treatment plan can provide lasting relief.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a technique derived from Acupuncture that uses acupuncture needles to access and stimulate trigger points to alleviate myofascial pain and improve range of motion. Trigger points can cause severe pain that can last for several years. Dr. Keller has had extensive training in the orthopedic style of dry needling. Dry needling is most effective when paired with Acupuncture.

ATP Resonance BioTherapy™

ATP Resonance BioTherapy™ is a non-invasive and painless technique for treating pain by using low-level electrical currents. ATP’s various frequencies can be used to potentially reduce inflammation (swelling), repair tissue, and reduce pain.

ATP (adenosine triphosphate) is the powerhouse of every cell in the human body. Its primary purpose is to provide the essential energy the body needs to function optimally.

ATP Resonance BioTherapy™ is applied to the body with a non-invasive device that delivers an extremely mild electical microcurrent (one millionth of an ampere). Specific frequencies are selected to encourage natural healing of the body and to reduce pain.

What to Expect…

Quick and Painless

ATP Resonance BioTherapy™ is non-invasive, quick and painless — you’re typically out of the office in 30 minutes.

The currents used in ATP Resonance BioTherapy™are so low that the patient often does not feel them. During the procedure, patients may notice certain effects, including warmth and a softening of affected tissues.
